Dr Carter is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with more than 40 years of experience in electronic medical records. He served as the Medical Director of the Specialty Surgery Center in Nashville, TN where he oversaw the treatment of more than 3000 pediatric and adult dental patients annually receiving general anesthesia for dental needs.

The evolution of the Hercules project stemmed from the desire to make a digital record available to a mobile surgical and anesthesia platform that could be scaled with the growing DSO industry.

The mission of the project was to create a digital platform that can document the legacy of safety for the mobile model and produce outcomes that exceed published safety benchmark seen in the ASC industry.

Dr. Carter holds an engineering degree from Tufts University, a dental degree from UCONN, and a medical degree from Vanderbilt University. He currently serves as the President of the US Dental Surgery Network with practice locations in seven states.
